Ennuel Vert

Sculpture created with a combination of modelling and carving using refractory clay of fine chamotte and plaster. Reproduced in resin and painted with shellac, chalk paint, iron paint and varnish.

Inspired by a sweet and fragile vision of Baby Jesus. The combination of the tenderness of a newborn sleeping with the hardness of the aged metal that forms it gives the sculpture its unique nature.
